am not 100% sure on how to approach on this subject. but the more i think about it the world depends on the uncanny ideas and thinking. to make out something and to make it look realistic but not too realistic is a huge thing today, all film industries and game industries are all looking at this to make there world or story more believable. i also think its a good thing to know that some films can't get their CG or make up right and that it falls into a uncanny valley category to the viewer, because i remember when i first started living in England and the films i were watching like, children of the corn and terminator, where not real. i used to stay up all night thinking was a child really killed, or did Arnold schwarzenegger really cut out his eye! its good to tell the difference between reality and none reality!
