Greek mythology: Chimera

THE KHIMAIRA (or Chimera) was a monstrous beast which ravaged the countryside of Lykia in Anatolia. It was a composite creature, with the body and maned head of a lion, a goat's head rising from its back, a set of goat-udders, and a serpentine tail.

The hero Bellerophon was commanded to slay it by King Iobates. He rode into battle against the beast on the back of the winged horse Pegasos and, driving a lead-tipped lance down the Khimaira's flaming throat, suffocated it.

the description of creature is very strong but leaves a lot of for the imagination in the sense of how it these three creatures are pieced together or the textures that might be used to merged together.
The Chimera can breath fire and was said to symbolise winter, the head (lion) representing
Frost, the goat head representing storms and winds of the winter and the snake to represent sickness and disease.

in terms for making this creature more futuristic it would be hard change the main features that make this creature. i have no idea how this would look which is a good start but if i feel like incorporating these three animals into a design, i would somehow need to show there likeness in a form.

This Creature has a mix of some interesting combinations that would look great but i don't really believe it would work as a design or i just haven't had any ideas of how it would look like yet.
